What’s Up With That?

Recently a National Guard whistle blower revealed a worrisome fact. In the advent of wide spread unrest, the government intends to target preppers first and foremost. It’s said they will be looked at as terrorists. Most survivalists I know, including myself, intend to protect what’s ours, be it life or property the constitution talks about, but oh well. So, the government will overlook the punks causing the problem and go after those minding their own. Where exactly is it we live? What happened to America? What’s up with that?

We are told on a daily basis how evil and unnecessary firearms are. We see only the gun related tragedies, never events where a tragedy was averted by responsible firearm use. Time and time again we hear the police will protect us. I have a question. If the police can and will protect us from those with evil intent, why are there still crimes against people? I take responsibility for my own safety, thank you very much. It all boils down to this: Government, be it city, state, or federal, simply doesn’t trust you with a firearm.

Before his first term of office, Mr. Obama spoke of creating a civilian defense force equal in strength to the military. Well, folks, with 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point and sniper ammo, a few thousand medium armored vehicles, body armor, several million MREs, and a bio-metric surveillance grid, I’d say we’re there. Did I mention they are acquiring a few tanks? If you are wondering which department I am referring to, look no further than Homeland Security. Some other ammo collectors within our government are the Social Security Administration and the National Weather service, each nearing a million rounds. If the drones and FEMA camps did not get your attention, hopefully this will.

DHS has stockpiled 1.6 billion rounds of ammo. The National Weather Service and Social Security Administration have a couple of hundred thousands rounds each. Add to this millions of MREs, body armor, and several thousand medium armored vehicles. Looks like they are preparing for war, but they are domestic agencies, right? By the way, the ammo consists of hollow point and sniper rounds, no exactly target rounds.
